Brown leather with gold leaf decoration with a brass clasp closure. The original owners name in gold leaf on the cover reads WB & SM Hodge. Includes both the Old and New Testament, also includes the Apocrypha, the Concordance and Psalms, History of the Bible, Bible Dictionary and many many other study aids and tables

There are pages for family photos, pages for recording family history with a few prior recordings. Copious marginal references

The Bible is in good condition. The back cover in the hinge area has the beginnings of a leather split which is photographed. The binding is good, intact and strong. Leather is in good condition, showing some surface wear. Pages are intact and foxing is minimal for the age of the volume
