1873 Harding's Royal Edition Holy Bible

This is an illustrated and fully 'loaded' Antique Family Bible in a VERY GOOD condition. This big 1873 Bible has a gold decorated leather cover with a completely functioning brass clasp on the site and a number of gorgeous full page black and white engravings. Besides a presentation of the Authorized/King James Version of the Old and New Testament and the Apocrypha, this Bible also contains a Concordance and the Psalms plus some more reference sections and tables and a family section. All in all a very complete and very early Antique Family Bible!

The book is in an overall Very Good condition. Binding and hinges work fine, all pages are solidly holding in their bindings and the paper is very clean. The spine shows some wear but very little for its age. It seems like this Bible was not used much by the previous owners. There are some names in the "birth" and "death" sections which refer to the Coffin family of Nantucket. The is a very nice Bible!
