This
Bible is in an EXCELLENT condition, joints & edges gently scuffed & worn but overall very well preserved, leather remains supple, boards firm, contents clean, sound & overall tight.
The binding has been professionally restored and is SOUND, also the
covers are firmly attached for many generations to come. This book was acquired (in 1892) and likely owned for a long time by
the Sondley Reference Library in Asheville, North Carolina., This
shows in a small note on the inside cover & some small blind stamps
to most of the plates & title page which are very easy to miss visually and do not detract when viewing the bible. No exterior library markings to the binding.
The antique family Bible is "as good as it gets"
