1874 Large Illustrated (Holman) Antique Bible with Apocrypha, Psalms

A vintage, antique Holman's edition of 1874 illustrated family Holy Bible. Remarkable nice condition (embossed/gold gilt, raised decoration and gold embossed along the edge) cover and clean pages (gold gilt edges). As per the title page: "HOLMAN'S EDITION. The HOLY BIBLE Translated Out of THE ORIGINAL TONGUES and with THE FORMER TRANSLATIONS DILIGENTLY COMPARED AND REVISED with the APOCRYPHA, CONCORDANCE and PSALMS.". The family register records the history of the Goff and Markham family going back to 1838.

This Bible is in a overall VERY GOOD condition. There are NO ripped or missing pages, just a slight occasional light stains/browning of the paper as to be expected. No writing (except for the family pages and the dedication in the front). The hinges are in a good condition and not split. There is some wear to the edges of the covers and areas on the leather.
