The leather covers have vibrant gold stamping. There are many gorgeous and beautiful illustrations to enjoy. Also bound in the second half of this remarkable antique book is a "manual of the lives of the popes from St. Peter to Pius IX".

This Bible is in a overall EXCELLENT condition. The hinges have been repaired and hold together tightly. The pages are in great condition overall, no tears, stains etc. A beautiful antique book for any Christian library.
