EXCELLENT and PRISTINE condition. The cover has been rebound with
brown leather over the original wooden boards, spine has 5 raised
bands with the text "Hole Bible" and "1629".
Binding is SOLID that makes for a solid and very useable
book that can be used and read on a daily basis. Bible is complete and
without any writing. All pages have large to huge margins. Nowhere is
any of the text in danger of being affected by re-cut paper (as often
is found in these old Bibles). EXCEPTIONALLY clean, only a few
occasional coloring spot or stains (a few on the first pages of the
Book of Common Prayer). An almost unbelievable early 17th century
antique treasure.
